This Privacy Policy explains how AuthX, a product of Eyecon Consultant (“AuthX”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and shares personal data when you visit https://authx.pk or contact us through it. AuthX provides QR code product verification, digital warranty and brand protection software for manufacturers.

What data we collect
Contact form
When you send a message through our contact form, we collect your name, your email address, the subject and the message you write. We use this data only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo if you ask for one, and keep a record of the conversation.
Technical and usage data
Like most websites, our servers and tools may record your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the site secure, fix errors and understand how the site is used.
Comments
If comments are enabled on a blog post and you leave one, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/.
WhatsApp chat buttons
The site offers WhatsApp chat buttons. If you click one, you are taken to WhatsApp, where your messages and phone number are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We receive only what you choose to send us.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us measure and improve our marketing.
- Essential cookies: used for security and basic site functions. If you log in to the site (staff only), WordPress sets login and screen-preference cookies.
- Meta Pixel: we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the results of our advertising and to show relevant ads on Meta platforms. - Embedded and third-party services: our contact page includes a Google Maps embed and the site includes WhatsApp chat buttons. These services may set their own cookies or collect data about your visit under their own privacy policies.

Who we share your data with

- Our email delivery and enquiry-handling providers, used to send and receive messages from the contact form.
- WhatsApp and Google (chat buttons and the map embed), when you use or load them.
- Gravatar / Automattic (comment avatars, if comments are used).
- Authorities or advisers, where we are legally required to or need to protect our rights.
Some of these providers are located outside Pakistan, so your data may be processed in other countries. Where that happens, we rely on the providers’ own data protection commitments and only share what is needed.
Embedded content
Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example videos or maps) from other websites. That content behaves as if you had visited the other website, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with the embedded content.
How long we keep your data
- Contact form enquiries: kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for the business purposes described in this policy, then deleted.
- Server and usage logs: kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting and site operation.
- Comments and their metadata: kept until you ask us to remove them.
- Advertising cookies: they expire according to the cookie’s lifetime, which is set by the provider.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. You can also ask for a copy of the data you gave us, and you can withdraw consent for cookies at any time. We may need to keep some data where the law requires it.
